Here's a fact: Nick Knight has created some of the most iconic images in fashion history. Here's another fact: Nick Knight loves flowers.  Currently blooming in London is Knight's SHOWstudio exhibition  Fashion Flora. This beautiful selection of contemporary fashion illustrations takes a look at the influence of flowers throughout fashion's history and the close relationship between the two.  Designs of  Dries Van Noten,  John Galliano, and the late Alexander McQueen to name a few are celebrated throughout the pieces and Knight's own hand-applied pigment print Rose IX gives viewers a glimpse into his passion for flowers- particularly roses. "Flowers have always been a huge influence and inspiration in the art of fashion design as well as a recurring theme throughout my own work," he says.

Floral master Flora Starkey anchors the show, curating these 40 fashion illustrations on display. British flowers and plants arranged by her surround the art and give audiences a taste of the designer's bespoke floral aesthetic.  "Flowers have always complimented fashion: both changing throughout the year with the seasons, and anticipating the season to come," she notes, "as a florist, fashion and illustration are constant sources of inspiration to me and it’s been a pleasure to be asked to curate this exhibition for Nick and SHOWstudio."  Be sure to catch a glimpse of Fashion Flora now until July 21, 2017. #itsplantporn
