My birthstone is a pearl so naturely I'm a fan of them- Senecio rowleyanus that is. Known as String of Pearls, this is the statement plant on my wish list. I finally found one to take home recently and my heart skipped a beat.
These plants are essential for your showstopping houseplant family! As a succulent vine they are pretty chill, low maintenance, and will happily take over your dresser. That sounds a lot like me. They're also really cute on the top of a high bookshelf so you can see the dramatic vines grow and to keep away from furry friends ( they should not be consumed/ kind of poisonous). All a String of Pearls asks for is a sunny spot and some water when you remember (not much).
I can't wait to show mine off! They can really work a room so don't get jealous if your guests are more excited about your String of Pearls than what's on tap at your next mixer. #itsplantporn
