PLANT POWER: LUCKY IN 2017

In astrology, each planet in our solar system symbolizes a different aspect of your life – for example: Mercury – communication, Venus – love, Saturn – lessons, and Jupiter – luck. The best part is, they are always moving into new signs which bring new possibilities to our personal worlds here on earth.

So after our infamous year of 2016, I decided to share with you the special area of our skies where your luck will reside. And then I will  suggest to you certain plants that will enhance this golden area of your life. It is your choice where to focus your energies in 2017, though there is a place in your chart where you will have a natural breeze lifting you up, so that is what we'll talk about here. This trend will be in effect now until Oct. 10 when Jupiter (planet ruling good luck and opportunity) will then move on to a new area of your chart.

ARIES

It’s all about partnering – in business and in pleasure as Jupiter will occupy your 7th house of marriage. Think flowers that come in pairs to place in your bedroom (for love) and your office if you’re searching for the right partner in ventures. Or you can go full speed and cover your home with these delicate twosomes to fully optimize your partner potential. 

POWER PLANT: Triandrous Daffodils grow in pairs and are a refreshing reminder of double energy.

TAURUS

Your luck will be poised in the area of your chart which rules health and getting into the best shape ever this year. Perhaps you are ready for a major upgrade in routine – this can also mean hiring a stellar team so you can attend to self-care more and less late nights at the desk (or club). 

POWER PLANT: Chrysanthemums in yellow or orange will promote the energy to start the day and continue manifesting magic all week.

Gemini

Lady luck enters your sector of romance, offspring and all things creative. Time to enjoy the fruits of your labor more. Surround yourself with flowers that induce the feeling of play and sweetness.

POWER PLANT: A large bouquet of pink or red roses will be just the right centerpiece in your home this year.

Cancer

Home and real estate will glow for you this year so if you are looking to buy, rent, update, renovate, or perhaps start a family – this will be your year.

POWER PLANT: In your flower selection, fill a vase with stones of your choice and then place a few white calla lilies inside. This ritual will symbolize the laying down of new foundations.

As Jupiter spends quality time in the communication zone of your chart, networking and social events will hold great promise. Perhaps you will pen your first book or learn a brand new skill.

POWER PLANT: A spider plant that hangs in your kitchen or living room is a constant reminder to express yourself in new ways as it grows confidently in all directions.

Virgo

You are learning about how to build wealth this year while Jupiter delivers more than a few new income ideas, though the challenge will be to focus on one and run with it.

POWER PLANT: As you begin to monetize more from your talents and hobbies, invest in a money tree for the home and place a couple bills beneath it for some extra plant magic.

Our Planet of abundance will be gracing through Libra for most of this year, gifting you with opportunities for travel, learning, meeting a great partner and overall expanding the realm of possibility in your life. You will need to be intentional at this buffet though.
